“I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters,
by the mercies of God,
to present your bodies as a living sacrifice,
holy and acceptable to God,
which is your spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your minds,
so that you may discern what is the will of God –
what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 2:1-2 (NRSV)
The devotions in Book VI – TRANSFORMATION encourage one to use his/her mind, soul, body and spirit in the process of change. First, your mind has to change and when you know better, you do better. Change is difficult; yet, change is the only thing that is constant in living. Yet, God’s and God’s characteristics (omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent) stay the same. Always pray for the Holy Spirit to give you a spirit of discernment so that you will have direction. Don’t forget to participate in your own healing!
