It is a beautiful hump day that the LORD, our God has made. So, I think that I will rejoice and be glad in it. I don’t know much about math! I don’t know much about the things I cook, but I do know, what a wonderful world this would be if people would just stop judging one another, looking down their noses trying to outdo one another, and finding faults with one another – even those of us who have sinned and have come short of the glory of God! Yes, what a wonderful world this would be if we could do all that.
I don’t know much about this or that; don’t know much about the food I eat; but, I do know one thing – what a beautiful world this would be if we could stop killing one another and start learning how to teach our kids, and, yes, even ourselves – how to love who we are and to have respect for all human life, respect each other culture, and talents that God blessed us with (even if we don’t always agree with another other).
Oh, what an awesome and wonderful world this would be if we could just move out of our comfort zone, just move out our own little space, and see the awesome beauty that surrounds us each day and night. Not just the beauty in the trees and the grass, but in the people with whom we come in contact. If we could just take the time and the trouble to let down our guard – just a bit – and see the love or compassion that each have to bring to the table called life; and, if we can remind ourselves that Jesus Christ, the Son of the Most High God died on that old rugged cross so that we could have life and have it more abundantly. Also, so that we could reconnect with God our Father and have an awesome and loving relationship with him which, in turn, would lead us to have an awesome and amazing relationship with each other.
Oh, what a wonderful, awesome, and amazing world this would be if we could just look beyond what is on the outside of us and find out what is on the inside of us that make us so special in God sight! Then, maybe, we would stop hurting and killing one another and start learning how to love one another – just as God loves us each and every day! I don’t know much about a lot of things in life, but I do know what a wonderful world this would be, if we would just put God first! This is my prayer on this beautiful “hump day” in Jesus name Amen!
