2 Timothy 2:3-4 (Today’s English Version).
Take your part in suffering, as a loyal soldier of Christ Jesus.
A soldier on active duty wants to please his commanding officer and so does not get mixed up in the affairs of civilian life. For abundant living, be more proactive in participating in your own healthcare, education, career, social and community affairs, and faith walk.
If you are a veteran, sharing your views on improving living conditions is welcomed. Be a witness for abundant living? As a solider of Christ, your commanding officer, what is your story? How have you been blessed? What are the resources? Consider the following topics:
- Career/Jobs
- Community
- Communication
- Education
- Family
- Healthcare
- Housing
- Personal Development
- Relationships
- Religion
- Veteran Benefits
- Veteran Organizations
The women and men who served in the many wars of the United States of America are recognized and honored by respecting the concerns of living as veterans.
On Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in his speech at Camp Pendleton, California, President Barack H. Obama stated that if corporations want to hire someone to get things done, hire a veteran.
