“Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.

In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.”

(Proverb 3:5-6 NRSV)

The devotions in Book V, TRUST & POWER are encouraging words when you feel abandoned, desperate, uncertain, powerless, and many other emotions or feelings.  The operative word and spirit in this book is trust.  The tendency is to give up when one feels that nothing is happening!   That is not the time to give up.  Perhaps, the time is not right to experience a difference.  You may have to change something or move someone in or out of your life!  You must be intentional for survival.  You must be faithful to move forward.  You must trust God for strength to carry on!
